The procedure lifts and reshapes the breasts by removing the excess skin and shaping the mama tissue. The areola is lifted (if too stretched, its size can be reduced). Mastopexy can be performed through the incision made around the areola leaving a vertical scar running to the breast crease or an anchor-like scar. In a case of mastatrophy (e.g. after nursing), the surgery's effect may be further improved by inserting breast implants.

Time of the procedure: 2 - 3 hours.
The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia.
After the procedure, the patient stays at the clinic for 1 night, and then 9 days in the apartment.
