The procedure consists in enhancing the size of a breast by inserting breast implants behind the mamma or pectoralis major. The implant positioning beneath the muscle enhances the shape of a breast of slim persons without excess filling of the upper part of the breast. The implants are filled with silicone gel, have an anatomical or round shape; they are of different sizes and made by several manufacturers: most frequently used implants - Mentor, McGhan, Nagor and Eurosilicone.

The incision is made in the breast crease or around the areola. The incision in the breast crease does not affect the ability to nurse and keeps scars as inconspicuous as possible. A choice of a size and type of implants is a joint decision of a doctor and a patient. It depends on the body constitution, size and condition of breasts before the surgery, understanding of limitations and possible complications following the augmentation, planned long-term and best possible effect of the surgery.

Time of the procedure: 2 - 3 hours.

After the procedure, the patient stays at the clinic for 2 nights, and then 9 days in the apartment.
